I'm a 30-something mother, writer and activist. I've been with The Parents Television Council since 2007, and in that capacity I've tried to educate the public about the media. More specifically, how
not being informed is the weakest defense. I don't aim to censor television (censorship is a dirty word), but I hope that one day, our elected officials will pay attention to what the public is demanding:
Cable Choice and a safer Family Viewing Hour on broadcast TV.
I pull no punches, I don't apologize for my opinions, and I'm not interested in appeasing anyone. I welcome all comments and feedback.
